Part Designer. Part Artist. All Maker.
I use my love for design, creativity, and problem solving to power the partnerships I stoke to bring their dreams and ideas to life with the joy of LEGO bricks through art at small and large scales, as well as through workshops.
I’ve been formally educated as an architect, acquiring a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Go Jackets!), which I attribute to my love of the brick…and trying to figure out what the closest thing to playing with LEGO as an adult would be. After college, I went on a design tear, evolving from a graphic designer, to a web designer, to an email designer, and finally a product design lead over close to 13 years at Capital One across their Messaging and Financial Well Being/Service and Support Experience teams - but those bricks were never far away.
In 2019, I co-founded Most Incredible Studio with Syreeta Gates, and as the lead artist, I’ve been able to create work for clients like adidas, Nike, Empire Publishing, Sacramento Kings, and even The LEGO Group themselves! In 2021, Syreeta and I were invited to be contestants on the second season of FOX’s LEGO Masters, and I was fortunate enough to be asked to return for the Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular.
Most recently, I’ve been able to work with the Wisconsin Center District, Clint Coley, and Capital One, marrying my experience as a designer in Corporate America with my skill in building LEGO art to create builds, custom designed kits, and live demonstrations with kids to delight their respective audiences.
My influence comes from the real world - walking around my environment and seeing people, places, and things that make my mind race to answer one simple question: what would that look like if I built it out of LEGO bricks? I still love architecture, and also enjoy music and video games, and I love to see how those worlds can be re-interpreted through the brick. My passion is to reflect people’s perspective through LEGO art; by creating what hasn’t existed before and help them discover a little bit of fun in their own world along the way.
I’m originally from the Atlanta area, but I’m currently based in Chicago, and I’m part of the ChiLUG group in the Chicagoland area.
If you’re ever in the Chicago area and want to meet up or work together, shoot me a message - I’d love to connect with you.
